The Community Education Program offers a wide variety of programs for area residents to explore and that appeal to their ever changing needs and interests. The program not only fosters job enhancement  through business, trade and technical education but fulfills personal interests through classes such as creative arts, health and safety education and fitness classes. High school equivalency preparation classes are offered through BOCES 2. Most programs are offered for fall, winter and spring sessions.

The Community Education Program is open to all regardless of background or residence, however, district residents are given preference. Full class information is available in the S-GI Bulletin prior to each session and fees for the courses are affordable. Most courses are offered to persons over 55 years of age at half price.

New proposals and instruction are always welcome. If you have an interesting hobby or area of expertise you would like to share with others, or for other program information, contact Mrs. Crystal Sopko, Coordinator, at 592-3211.
