Varsity Girls Basketball

The varsity girls basketball team dropped their first home game on the season Monday night by a score of 61-40. The girls had a tough time handling Eden in transition and struggled finishing possessions on the offensive end. Despite the loss the girls had a couple positive moments. Kenz Owens did a great job navigating the offense and staying composed throughout a highly competitive game. Ivette Lewandowski and Grace Zabawa were tough to guard in the open court and Rachel O’Neal rebounded the ball extremely well off the bench. Lastly, Kelsey Zabawa was tough underneath with rebounding and finishing around the basket. Despite the loss the team is still in great shape, sitting at 11-5 overall.
