2017 Envirothon Competition


Springville High School recently competed in the 2017 Envirothon Competition on April 27 at Elma Senior Center Park. The team placed second in Erie County. The competition involves outdoor science events, an oral presentation and taking written tests. The current issue this year dealt with best management practices for agriculture. The team placed first in the Aquatics event. First in the wildlife event. Placed Third in the soils, current issue and forestry events. This year’s team was Benn Smith, Josh Moscato, Grace Gernatt, Amy Stabell and Lauren Pukay. Congratulations a job well done representing SGI.
