The JV girls lacrosse team lost a tough fought battle against Sweet Home Thursday May 2nd, 5-4. The girls played a physical game, and brought forth a total team effort. With our goalie away, Brynley Spencer stepped in and played an excellent game in net, with defense being controlled by Peyton Rehrauer and Klaira Sebzda. Moorea McKinsey controlled the scoring for the team leading with 3 goals, including the goal to tie the game, while Mckayla Griffith added a goal to the team total as well. The game came to an end in overtime where Sweet Home scored the first goal. The JV team looks forward to continuing this momentum for the rest of the season.
