Remote Instruction Check-In For Parents (video)


NYSED is requiring daily check-in/attendance for school districts who are taking part in non-face-to-face learning (hybrid or SGI full remote*). To fulfil the NYS mandate, we have set up a check-in form via the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal. We will be using this form not only for attendance but to assist students with their learning/needs. As this format is new, we will be asking parents of elementary student to complete this form for their child on remote days. We will be instructing middle and high school students how to access the form, so they can complete it on their own. We understand that it takes time to get everyone set up in PowerSchool and become familiar with this process, therefore we will officially begin using this form for attendance starting, Monday, September 21st . *Students in grades 7-12 who will be attending the Erie 1 BOCES eAcademy will not need to complete this form. Your attendance will be tracked through eAcademy.
