SGI Meal Information During Closure


At SGI, we realize that this extended school closure is causing additional stress for families. Our primary concern is your child’s health and well-being. SGI Culinary Department will continue to provide healthy and safe meals during this closure.

Student meal packages containing breakfast and lunch will be made available to ALL Springville students 18 years and under for FREE during the closure.

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, food distribution sites for breakfast/lunch package pickup will be set up or arrangements made for home delivery.  To eliminate the need for multiple visits, families can pick up one package containing both breakfast and lunch for each child they have enrolled in the district. 

Drive-up/Walk-up meals will be available at three (3) locations within the District. Meals will be provided on Mondays through Thursdays at the following locations between the hours of 11:00am to 1:00pm regardless of the school building where your children are enrolled.

Please note that a “drive thru” system utilizing the bus lanes will be set up where families can drive up, sign off on receipt of the meal package and continue on without the need to park and/or enter the buildings. 

Meals will be packaged together as a lunch and breakfast for the following day. As the District will be closed on Fridays, meals on Thursday will consist of: 3 breakfasts and 2 lunches per child to cover Friday. Signing up for meals allows you to get them Monday-Thursday until school is back in session.

Families that cannot get to a distribution site during meal pick up hours can request home delivery by calling (716) 592-3278 or by completing this form. Anticipated home delivery drop off times will also be between the hours of 11:00am and 1:00pm.
