Springville-Griffith Institute CSD is excited to announce that, effective July 1, 2019, we will be changing the direction of our food service program and become a self-operated program. As a self-operated food service program, we will be able to control all aspects of the program.
What jobs are we interviewing for?
Cook Manager – Responsible for preparing and cooking food while supervising personnel in their satellite school kitchen and cafeteria. Reports directly to the Food Service Director.
Cook – Responsible for preparing and cooking large quantities of food for consumption in the NSLP (National School Lunch Program). Reports to Cook Manager.
Food Service Helper – Interacts directly with students and staff. Responsible for serving food, maintaining service line and processing payments. Reports to Cook Manager.
All Food Service employees will be part of the Springville Educational Employees Association (SEEA) union. Job descriptions and applications are available from Debbie Owen in the District Office. Interviews will be conducted in June. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 21, 2019.
