It is my goal to make sure every child feels a sense of belonging in our schools. Connecting with families to partner in providing the best outcome for our students at SGI is a number one priority for me.

Cynthia grew up in Northwest Connecticut where she graduated from Wamogo Regional High School in Litchfield.  She then attended Ithaca College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Business.  Cynthia worked in human resources for a number or years before she obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Canisius College.  She held a position as a special education teacher at Erie-2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES and then was hired by SGI in 2009. She worked as a special education teacher at Springville and Colden Elementary Schools for 11 years.  While working as a teacher, Cynthia earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Canisius College and was hired in January, 2020 as an assistant principal at Springville Elementary and Middle School.
