The girls tennis team officially capped off their season on Friday after sending singles standouts Evelyn Berry and Natalie Rumfola to the prestigious ECIC Tournament.
The first SGI player that took the court was second singles star Natalie Rumfola. Natalie took on one of the top players from Lancaster and lost 0-6, 0-6. The result couldn’t tarnish an incredible season as Natalie moved up from third singles to second singles and was named team captain as a freshman.
Up next was Evelyn Berry, who took on the top player from Lake Shore and lost 1-6, 2-6. Once again, the result couldn’t diminish the incredible success Evelyn enjoyed as a 7th grader!!!! Evelyn was our first singles player and she was named first team all league for Division 4. It was an amazing season for Evelyn!
