The varsity girls basketball team finished in second place over the weekend after losing to Iroquois by a score of 66-22. Leading the Griff’s in scoring was Chloe Lester with 11 points. Dani Oakley dropped 6 points, Ella Uhteg and Meg Rosenswie each had 2 points and Kailey Lester finished with one point. The Griffs played without two of their post players which made it difficult to slow down the 6”6 center from Iroquois. Despite the result the girls had a great experience and left the weekend 1-1 overall.
In other news, Dani Oakley and Chloe Lester made the all-tournament team. Congrats girls!!!
