Congratulations to the Varsity Swim Team for capturing their 3rd win of the season. We are now 3-0! Currently our record puts us 2nd in ECIC Division 3 league and 3rd in Class C. The team consists of 19 athletes in grades 7-12. Kate Regan is our team's diver, and at yesterday’s meet, her dive score qualified her for ECIC post-season championships. Freshman Corinne McAndrew has top times for the team in 200 Free, 500 Free, 100 Breast and 200 IM. Erin Baker follows with top times in the 100 Free and 100 Back, as well as Gabby Cerasani in the 50 Free and 100 Fly. Other key contributors to the team are Kiersten Crone, who has become a very strong swimmer in every event she is in, Taylor Casey is our Freestyle Sprinter who helps make fast 200 and 400 Free relays as well as gets us wins in her individual events. Kendra Cook is an 8th grader who follows McAndrew by a few hundredths of seconds in 100 Breaststroke and is a key factor in our Medley Relay. Brooke Ruzycki is clutch in her 100 backstroke and is within 1 second of a top time.
