The Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District Board of Education approved the appointment of Ms. Kristin Guadagno to serve as SGI Transportation Supervisor during the board meeting on Tuesday evening.
Ms. Guadagno currently serves as the Head Bus Driver at Lancaster Central School District and will begin her service at SGI on December 30, 2024. Mrs. Ann Rugg has been in the role for the past ten years and will retire from her position on January 3.
“I am excited to welcome Kristin to our SGI family,” Superintendent of Schools James Bialasik said. “Kristinl was impressive at each stage of a rigorous selection process. She is a skilled leader and administrator who is thrilled to be here at SGI. I’m confident that Kristin will work hard to forge strong relationships with transportation staff, families and our community while building upon the great work already happening in SGI Transportation.”
Ms. Guadagno started her career as a bus driver, a job she held for 18 years. She joins SGI after amassing a variety of experiences in school transportation.
