We have heard your feedback that you want one place to stay connected with our schools, your children’s teachers, coaches and activities. We’re excited to share that we are rolling out a new communication platform called ParentSquare to help us keep you better informed and more connected with your school community.
We are taking this school year to roll out ParentSquare in a thoughtful manner that considers both the staff and parent experiences. We will soon begin using ParentSquare for mass communications at both the district and school levels. At this stage, you will not notice any changes in communication.
We will also pilot ParentSquare with different groups and collect feedback to refine our process. Depending on the groups and your child’s involvement, you may be a part of our pilot program.
With ParentSquare, you’ll receive all school, classroom and extracurricular messages in one place — whether by email, text, app, or web. You’ll also be able to:
Stay up to date on news and events your way
Send and receive messages with teachers and staff
Fill out forms and permission slips
Sign up for conferences and volunteer opportunities
View calendar items and photos from your school
All school, grade-level, classroom, athletic and extracurricular communications will all come through ParentSquare starting in September 2026.
One thing I am personally excited to try out as a parent is setting up my communications preferences. Families can choose how and when they want to receive non-emergency messages, whether that is by email, text, or notification, and they can receive those messages as they are sent or as a daily digest.
