Mean Girls

Springville-Griffith Institute High School is proud to present Mean Girls High School Version, the high-energy and heartfelt musical based on the hit film and Broadway production. Performances will take place on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 PM in the Springville-Griffith Institute High School Auditorium.

 

Mean Girls High School Version features a book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. The show follows Cady Herron as she navigates the complicated social world of high school after moving from homeschooling in Africa to public school in America. With sharp humor, energetic musical numbers, and an important message about empathy, identity, and belonging, the show balances comedy with meaningful themes.

 

The cast includes Allegra Johnson as Cady Herron, Matthew Arrington as Damian Hubbard, and Ariella Punaro as Janice Ian. The Plastics are portrayed by Kate Regan as Regina George, Alexis Beckwith as Karen Smith, and Hannah Fanton as Gretchen Wieners. These students bring strong performances, comedic timing, and enthusiasm to this popular production.
