homecoming

SGI Community,

What a great spirit week it has been! We are all excited for the annual Homecoming parade, which will leave from Springville High School on Friday evening at 5:30 PM.

We would like to make sure that this is another safe and fun event for our families in attendance.  With that, we ask that, once again, adults please keep children on the side of the road during the parade and wait for all vehicles to pass before attempting to pick up any candy from the road.  The vehicles and floats are quite large, and drivers may not see children who run out into the roadway.  We sincerely appreciate your help in this matter!

We love seeing our students and families come out to support our Griffins! Our football games are a great opportunity to bring our community together, and we want everyone to enjoy them in a safe and welcoming environment. With that, we ask that all children in eighth grade and younger be accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

Children must enter with their accompanying adult and remain under that adult's supervision throughout the game. We certainly want our younger Griffins to continue being part of the excitement. Thank you for helping us keep our games safe, positive, and enjoyable for everyone. If you have any questions, please contact the Athletic Office.

Additional Note: Last year some children on floats were throwing “bouncy balls” to the crowd along the parade route. These tend to ricochet back out into the road and create a safety concern. With that, we ask that all adults who are supervising floats do not allow these objects to be thrown.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday night!  Go Griffins!
