Senator Gillibrand and Congressman Tim Kennedy are hosting their 2025 Service Academy Night on Thursday, October 2nd, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Hohn Auditorium at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Campus, 665 Elm Street in Buffalo, New York 14203.
Students, parents and guardians, and school counselors are invited to attend the Service Academy Night and meet representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Those planning on attending should RSVP through this Eventbrite link.
This event is an opportunity to learn about the unique academic and career opportunities offered through our nation’s service academies. Students who attend the service academies graduate with a top-tier education, strong leadership experience, and a commission as an officer. Moreover, they will join a proud tradition of leadership and selfless service to our nation. A panel of Academy representatives will provide an overview of the admission process, daily life of a cadet/midshipman, and various paths to officer ship.
Reminder:
Senator Gillibrand’s Service Academy Nomination application is now open. Interested students may apply for a nomination through Senator Gillibrand’s website. The deadline for applying and submitting all materials in consideration for a nomination through our office is Sunday, October 12.
Contact our Service Academy Nominations team at nominations@gillibrand.senate.gov should you have questions about the nominations process or federal service academies in general. If you or anyone interested in attending has questions, please reach out to me directly at Eric_Glenn@Gillibrand.Senate.gov.
