All of these courses are for any person who needs it for their first time or those who let their certification expire. This is open to anyone, not just SGI students.

Basic Lifeguarding Course
*includes lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid for any pool facility
When: Saturday, March 7th 8:00am-10am for swimming pre-course skills….MUST PASS TO CONTINUE!! On this date, we will provide you with all the information and directions to access your online coursework, which you will need to complete on your own time before the next in-person date.
On your own time: March 7-March 20th- Mandatory Online e-learning content needs to be completed by participants
Saturday’s March 21 & 28th In Person Skills @ Pool 8am-1:00pm
**All In-Person Training is MANDATORY TO COMPLETE THE REQUIREMENTS
Where: Springville HS Pool (290 North Buffalo Street, Springville)
Cost: $200.00
Once payment is received, there is absolutely NO REFUND based on your results. This is a certification program that you either Pass or Fail at the culmination of all skill assessments and scenarios.
Who is Eligible? Anyone who is 15 years of age and is comfortable in the water, both with swimming and with going to the bottom of the pool in the deep end.
