As part of Disabilities Awareness Week, SMS students had the opportunity to "Mix It Up" in lunches. Teachers gave the students their assigned seats in lunch that allowed them to sit next to other students they do not usually sit next to. This allowed them to make new connections with their classmates, gain a better understanding of those who may have different experiences or abilities, and foster an environment of inclusion and belonging at the middle school!
