6-0 win. Bruce was sharp throughout the contest and never gave his opponent a chance to get into the match.
Garrison Heichberger won the second singles by winning 6-1, 6-3. Garrison had some solid groundstrokes on the day, along with some creative drop shots to get the win.
In first doubles action, Avery Noeson and Liam Bobseine lost 6-4, 3-6, and 4-10. It was a high-level match which saw both players hit some terrific shots. Despite the result, both players will bounce back when they return to the court.
In second doubles play, Forrest Prouty and Frank Keeton won 6-0, 6-4. The tandem dominated the first set and found a way to get the win in the 2nd set. Forrest was a beast at the net, and Frank hit some incredible angles on the day.
Will Prinino and Kaiden Bialasik won third doubles 6-2, 6-1. Between Will's high-quality net play and Kaiden's solid baseline play, both players did a great job of playing complementary tennis.
In exhibition action, Oliver Prinino and Cullen McAndrew won 6-1. Brodie Neureuther and Toly Wochensky won 6-4.
It was the perfect way to celebrate SGI’s 6 seniors.
The team travels to Eden this afternoon in a D4 matchup.

In third doubles play, Frank Keeton and Will Prinino won 6-0, 6-1. Both Frank and Will did a great job of putting pressure on their opponents with some tough shots.
In exhibition play, Kaiden Bialasik and Will Prinino won 6-0. Tristan Jones and Cullen McAndrew won 6-0. Ben Watson and Brodie Neureuther won 6-3. And Henry Schuster and Jackson Keyser lost a tough 3-6 contest.
On Saturday, the boys' tennis team hosted the team championships and lost in the second round of the event to a strong Maple Grove team by a score of 3-2. The boys started off their day with a nice 4-1 win over Westfield.
The team takes the court this afternoon against West Seneca, come out and support the group but also, our 5 tremendous seniors!

In the second singles play, Garrison Heichberger lost 4-6, 4-6. The match was extremely close throughout as both players were about as even as it could get. Garrison showed some terrific net play and hustle despite the loss.
In first doubles action, Matt Baumgartner and Liam Bobseine won 6-1, 6-4. The duo played a near-flawless first set as both players were hitting their shots consistently. The second set was much closer, but the senior tandem found a way to close out the contest.
In second doubles play, Forrest Prouty and Avery Noeson won 6-1, 6-1. The story of the match was the complementary tennis being played by both players. Both guys set each other up consistently, leading to many winners on the day.
In third doubles action, Will Prinino and Frank Keeton won 6-1, 6-1. Both players continued to exhibit consistent play, both from the net and baseline.
In exhibition action, Kaiden Bialasik and Cullen McAndrew lost 5-7. Ben Watson and Brodie Neureuther lost 1-6 in doubles play. And Alex Benz with Tristan Jones lost 3-6.
The boys wrap up the week when they travel to JFK this afternoon.

In the first singles play, Bryce Cook won 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (7-4). Cook fought back from a 2-5 deficit in the first set and showed why he’s one of the top players in the area. The second set saw Bryce handle adversity and overcome his opponent, coming back from a 4-5 deficit. It was one of Bryce’s best wins of the season.
In the second singles play, Garrison Heichberger lost 4-6, 4-6. Garrison played a solid match, and even came back from a 2-5 deficit in the second set, but couldn’t quite come all the way back. Despite the result, Garrison should have terrific mental toughness and perseverance.
In first doubles action, Matt Baumgartner and Liam Bobseine won 6-2, 6-2. The tandem played a complete match, which kept their opponents off balance throughout the contest. Matt hit some big shots from the baseline, and Liam was excellent at the net.
In second doubles play, Forrest Prouty and Avery Noeson won 6-3, 6-1. Both players were fantastic in their overall play, continuing to mesh well and performing at a high level.
In third doubles action, Frank Keeton and Will Prinino won 6-2, 6-4. The boys had to battle a tough comeback attempt in the second set, and they did just that with some clutch shots and consistent play.
In exhibition play, Kaiden Bialasik and Oliver Prinino won 6-5, and Toly Wochensky won his singles match 6-0.
The team is now 9-0 on the season and welcomes East Aurora this afternoon in a match that will decide 1st place in Division 4. Come out and support this talented group and support them if you’re able!

Both players found their rhythm after pushing the score to 4-5. From there, the consistency from the net was crucial, along with some excellent passing shots from the baseline.
In second doubles action, Forrest Prouty and Avery Noeson won 7-6, 6-0. The boys shrugged off a slow start, being down 1-4, and won a thrilling tiebreaker. From that point on, both players were tremendous and dominated the second set.
In third doubles play, Will Prinino and Frank Keeton won 6-0, 6-0. Both players were incredibly consistent throughout the match and never gave their opponents a chance to compete.
In exhibition play, Kaiden Bialasik and Oliver Prinino won 6-1. Will Prinino and Tristan Jones won 6-1. Ben Watson and Sebastian Ehrig won 6-2.
The team is now 8-0 and travel to Eden on Friday night in a D4 matchup.

In second singles action, Garrison Heichberger won 8-0, 8-0. Heichberger was just too much for his opponent as he dominated at the net and put a lot of pressure throughout the contest with his baseline winners.
In first doubles play, Matt Baumgartner and Liam Bobseine won 8-2, 8-1. Liam had some high-quality backhand shots, and Matt was strong at the net to secure the win.
In second doubles action, Forrest Prouty and Avery Noeson won 8-0, 8-1. Both players demonstrated some tremendous baseline play and strong volleys at the net.
In third doubles play, Frank Keeton, Will Prinino and Kaiden Bialasik won 8-0, 8-0. Frank and Will played the first match and won emphatically with strong overall play. Kaiden and Frank joined forces in the second match and continued the theme of consistency from all parts of the court.
In exhibition play, Ben Watson and Alex Benz won their respective singles matches. Henry Schuster and Brodie Neureuther won their doubles match as well.
The team travels to West Seneca today in a non-league battle in hopes of going to 8-0.

In third doubles action, Frank Keeton and Will Prinino won 6-0, 6-0. The boys only lost three points total in the first set and continued their strong play in the second set.

The boys are now 5-0 and play a doubleheader against Tonawanda this afternoon.

SGI SADD students recently attended a Youth Leadership Summit along with 200 others from WNY! The day was filled with team-building and leadership activities, demonstrations by police on the effects of alcohol on one's ability to perform tasks, and a presentation on the importance of creating supportive and inclusive communities. The day ended with a powerful message from sports analyst Ryan D. Leaf. Thank you to the Substance Free Coalition, Kids Escaping Drugs and The Character Council of Western New York for hosting this event!

In second doubles action Avery Noeson and Forrest Prouty won 6-0, 6-0. The tandem made it tough on JFK by playing a clean match and hitting numerous winners.
In third doubles play, Kaiden Bialasik and Frank Keeton won 6-0, 6-0. The boys were strong in their consistency and overall level of play, keeping the visitors down for the match.
In exhibition action, Brodie Neureuther and Oliver Prinino won 6-3. Tristan Jones and Toly Wochensky dropped a very competitive 4-6 match. Alex Benz and Ben Watson won an entertaining match 7-5. Sebastian Ehrig and Jackson Keyser lost a tough 6-2 decision.
The team is now 4-0 overall and will host Cleveland Hill tomorrow afternoon.

Over the past three days at Camp Oswegatchie, Madalynn has participated in a rigorous selection process that included interviews, activities, and leadership evaluations. Throughout it all, she represented our chapter, our school, and our community with confidence, professionalism, and kindness.
Over the next year, she will travel across New York and share her passion for agriculture and FFA with elected officials, stakeholders and FFA members.

In the second singles play, Garrison Heichberger won 6-0, 4-6, 6-1. Garrison played a strong first set, striking the ball cleanly and forcing his opponent to move. He dropped the second set but regained his winning form in the third set. Garrison settled down and made better shots as the match went on.
In first doubles action, Liam Bobseine and Matt Baumgartner won 6-3, 6-1. The duo continues to complement one another as both players did a great job of finishing plays at the net and serving consistently.
In second doubles play, Avery Noeson and Forrest Prouty won 6-2, 6-7 (3-7) and 6-2. It was a three-set battle as both players kept their composure and stayed the course with consistent play to get the third set win.
In third doubles action, Will Prinino and Frank Keeton dominated 6-1, 6-1. It was a result of keeping the ball in play and taking advantage of their opponents' mistakes.
