Love the Bus Month is right around the corner! Love the Bus is a month-long celebration held every February that celebrates the importance and role of the yellow school bus in education, with a particular focus on thanking school bus drivers for safely transporting children to and from school every day.

At SMS, Fuel Up to Play 60 is collecting used sneakers as part of a recycling program. Sneakers can be any size, gender, and type. Sneakers are the only item we are collecting. If you have sneakers that you are looking to get rid of, please consider donating them to the Middle School. You can drop them off in the main lobby during the month of January.

Students in Miss Hatch's 7th grade French class finished off their nature unit by learning a little bit about Claude Monet and impressionism. They recreated one of Monet's most famous paintings using watercolors. Check out their creations!



Miss Hatch's 7th and 8th grade French classes recently learned about the famous Canadian winter Carnaval in Quebec City. Carnaval has many fun outside winter activities led by the mascot Bonhomme. Students used different candies to create their own version of Bonhomme in class!
